desmos

This project really showed me that we can use desmos for more than graphing calculations. It helped me figure out how to put multiple equations together to make a picture which was hard but it definitely was worth it.

Chaos to Order

It is very important to understand many things in life transition from chaos to order. Chaos can create an immense burden, but as soon as the chaos is over order can be restored. Sometimes chaos is necessary for order. For example when God flooded the earth this could be considered necessary disorder. It caused everything to become new and order was forced to be restored. This shows the end product of chaos can be disorder. In my life this directly applies. In my younger years I lived in one of the worse neighborhoods in metro Atlanta. During these times I saw a number of chaotic things, like dogs fighting, people fighting, and people ruining their lives. I always knew that none of that stuff was good. It was just what I was used to so I guess one could say I was used to the continues chaos. Chaos was needed for my family to be convinced to get out this bad neighborhood we had been in for years. We finally moved after the third time our house was robbed. Order was immediately restored when we moved into a much nicer neighborhood. God does everything for a reason although it can be bad in the moment there is a long term plan God has for all of us. On a much more mathematical note, this theory can be used in math as well. It basically shows that in math there are many ways to do some things. Some ways may be very chaotic and hard to understand but when an answer is ultimately found order is restored. The cool thing about math is universal principles such as this can apply, to teach one a much larger lesson.

math problem project

This project showed me how i can demonstrate the difference in discount and a percent off. It showed how a company can make more money and it also showed a way consumers could save money

GRAPH STORIES

GRAPH STORIES
The story my graph tells is about a girl named sarah who must cook 4 items of food for her thanksgiving celebration
BEHIND THE SCENES: I used numbers and variables to represent the time the item must be in the oven.

My experience with our Hour of Code project was very good. I really enjoyed being able to program games like angry birds that I am familiar with. I am really glad we did this because it made me use the skills I have learned through my computer science class with Mr. Justice. The only challenging part to me was operating the program, because programs I have previously used were operated much differently, but as soon a i became familiar with the one we used I was good at it. It even became fun. I also enjoyed it because it gives people from all over the world a chance to make a career out of coding. It was surprising to me how we were able to program popular games and apps you might see a person playing on their phone. In conclusion this was a very fun project and I'm glad I had the opportunity to participate in the Hour of Code.

desmos

I like this graph because its simple and cool

Math bog part 3

Hypothetically when traveling to Rome I would need to use math to calculate the amount of miles it would take me to reach my destination i could also make a graph on the weather tendencies . I think it would be nice to visit a place like Rome because the culture there is so much different from what we have here.
